Partnership with parents

At Seesaws every child matters and each child is an individual.

We work very closely with our parents so that any baby, toddler or pre-schooler who comes into our care gets the most out of their time here – whether it’s for one day a week or full time.

Seesaws is a home-from-home environment. This means that:

  • We try to keep the same routine that you have at home whenever possible
  • Breastfeeding mothers are welcome at any time to come and feed their babies or you can leave your breast milk, which can be refrigerated, this ensures that you can continue breast-feeding for as long as you want to.
  • Parents and grandparents of babies at our nursery are welcome to visit at any time.

We love to keep parents up to date with their little one’s news, so at the end of every day you will receive a detailed daily progress report.

We hold parents’ evenings twice a year at which you can discuss your child’s development with our experienced team.

We operate an open-door policy at Seesaws and parents can discuss any issues with staff in complete confidence at any time.

Seesaws prides itself on celebrating our children’s different cultures and every child is made to feel valued and special.

Our experienced staff will work with you as your child moves through their different stages; helping to make their individual journey enjoyable and worry free.
